Casey & Devoti, a St. Louis-based personal injury law firm, will again serve as a corporate sponsor of the 16th annual Wine Opener to benefit the Gateway Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. This year’s fundraising event is scheduled for Saturday, September 15th and will be held in Ross Hall on the campus of Christian Brothers College in Town & Country, Missouri.
The Wine Opener provides a casual atmosphere where guests can sample over 50 different domestic and international wines, nosh their way through tasty food stations, listen to live entertainment, and bid on fabulous prizes through live and silent auctions.

Casey & Devoti has been a strong supporter of the Gateway Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation for many years, serving as a corporate sponsor for both the Wine Opener and the foundation’s annual ‘Reach for the Stars’ gala. Over the years, Partner Matthew Devoti has personally donated his time and talents to the foundation by serving as a board member, president-elect, foundation president and most recently as an executive board member. This will be the fifth year Devoti will serve as ‘Co-Host’ of the Wine Opener. Last year, under his guidance, the event drew a crowd of nearly 400 people and raised a record-breaking $100,000 for the foundation.
Cystic Fibrosis is a life-threatening genetic disease that affects the lungs and digestive systems of about 30,000 children and adults in the United States. The Gateway Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is a fundraising arm, whose purpose is to advance fundraising efforts, research and community awareness for children and adults living with Cystic Fibrosis in the St. Louis area.
