The attorneys at Casey, Devoti & Brockland are excited to announce that Matt Casey was recently appointed to the Missouri Board of Governors. Matt will be representing District 11, which encompasses lawyers working in the City of St. Louis.
The Missouri Board of Governors is the governing body of the Missouri Bar Association, consisting of 45 lawyers. The Board plays a crucial role in setting policies for Missouri lawyers and overseeing programs administered by the Missouri Bar.
Matt Casey’s appointment to the Board is just one of many testaments to his dedication to the St. Louis community. Matt was previously the president of the Lawyers Association of St. Louis after serving many years on the executive committee.
As a longtime resident of Richmond Heights, Matt also previously served two terms as a councilman. Over his six years of service, Matt and his fellow members approved several retail and residential projects that transformed areas affected by economic downturn into thriving centers of commerce.
Notably, his position on the Board allows Matt to follow in the footsteps of his father and founder of our firm, Tom Casey. Tom also represented District 11 for multiple terms in the late 1990s and early 2000s while the firm resided in the City of St. Louis. Matt expressed his gratitude for this opportunity to guide the legal community.
On behalf of the firm, we wish to congratulate Matt Casey on this accomplishment. Casey, Devoti & Brockland strives to be an example of compassion and community impact — we’re proud to see Matt successfully carry our mission further into the community.
